Reservation and booking
The booking line answered at 7:30 on a Friday.
Industry research puts it plainly: UK restaurant no-show rates run 12 to 15 per cent, and with deposits and a proper reminder sequence they typically fall under 5 per cent. Every booking gets confirmed, reminded the day before and again on the day. Big tables and events leave a deposit, which is the single best no-show killer there is. If someone cancels, the slot is offered to your waitlist before it goes cold.
